8 a.m.: I’d like to say I start my Monday mornings off with a homemade breakfast and a steamy cup of coffee. In reality, the love of my life (my dog Kopol) wakes me up with a dignified bark as he bites his tail to let me know he needs to “go out.” Around 8:15 a.m. is when I’ve finally mustered up the courage to slip into winter clothes and brave the wintery outdoors as I take him for his morning stroll. By 8:30 or 8:45 a.m., I’m downing my first (and for the most part only) cup of hot coffee – I prefer mine with almond milk.

9 a.m.: By this time, I’m at the BlueTickSocial office. It’s become a habit of mine now to write down all of my goals and manifestations for the day, week, year, whatever it may be before I actually start my work. These few minutes of reflection allow me to center myself and my determination to complete my to-do lists effectively. Then it’s time to catch up on emails…

10 a.m.: By 10 a.m., I’m hopping on Zoom to discuss the progress of my clients with whoever is scheduled that day. These meetings are crucial to our client’s success as they ensure we stay on the same page when it comes to their digital marketing strategies and overall goal.

11 a.m.: This time of the morning is creatively entertaining as I’m either submitting materials for my digital marketing strategists, like trending TikToks, or handing my writers content such as social audits and strategies for our prospective clients.

12 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Every Monday, the BTS team meets for a few hours in the middle of the day to discuss the overview of each of our client’s progress in their digital marketing strategies and goals. This is my favorite time of day because the whole team gets together, and we can feed off each other’s ideas and creativity – Kopol is heavily involved in the process!

2 p.m.: By the time we’ve reviewed our client list, we take a step closer and review any clients with ongoing or active campaigns. We review analytics and related trends to make sure we are reaching our target audiences and potential audiences.

3 p.m.: I know…we spend a lot of time reviewing client goals and strategies – how else can you guarantee success? I use this hour as another time slot for my clients who may want more face-to-face interaction or general discussion on their progress with BTS. One of the more important lessons I’ve learned about digital marketing is that it’s not just a customer service business – it’s much more than that. We’re in the business of human connection.

4 p.m.: The late afternoon is usually time set aside to brush up on or finalize proposals for current and potential clients.

5 p.m.: By the time 5 p.m. rolls around, I’m usually wrapping things up and saying goodbye to my in-office colleagues, Lane and Sasha. Before I go home, I like to write my to-do list for the next day – and that’s a day in my work life!
