2022 was a big year, to say the least.

We had good times like visiting the multiverse thanks to brilliant movies like Everything Everywhere All At Once. Witnessing Will Smith slap Chris Rock at the Oscars and seeing all the memes that ensued.

But we had some troubling and challenging times as well including mourning icons like Queen Elizabeth II, Bob Saget, Betty White, and Takeoff. Watching Russia invade Ukraine. Witnessing the women of Iran fight for their rights and freedoms.

Despite the tumultuous times of 2022, BlueTickSocial has remained consistent in its efforts to help businesses and brands alike grow their social media presence.

As we continue to grow heading into the new year, our team wanted to reflect on some of the moments that made 2022 such a big year for us.

When asked about her proudest moment from the year, Sasha Khatami, our Lead Strategist, said, “We started our newsletter and it grew to 200 subscribers within the first two months! It was definitely a proud moment for me because we got to try something new and it was a really fun collaboration between the marketing and writing sides of BTS, something we don’t get to do very often.”

Director of Marketing, Lane Tower spent the year learning different ad formats and strategies for different platforms.

“This was something I always wanted to learn but never knew where to start. I was fortunate to have one-on-one conversations with Ad Managers from Google, Facebook, and Pinterest to help grow my skills. I have been able to seamlessly run ads to produce maximum conversions and I could not be prouder of that.”

When reflecting on 2022, Lauren Rowe, Director of Writing, shared her personal insight, “It was a hectic year with a lot of change and growth, not only for me, but for our team as a whole. I am really proud of how quickly we were able to adapt and lean into the changes. While we definitely experienced our share of growing pains, I think it  made us stronger and will prepare us for what is to come in the future.”

Speaking of the future, Maddie Draper, Digital Marketing Specialist, hopes that the coming year will be a pivotal year for her and her work.

“In 2023, I want to work on challenging myself to take bigger risks when it comes to content. I want to try new styles of designing graphics and really develop my own personal, creative style.”

When asked something she is looking forward to in 2023, our Digital Content Writer, Breanna Lucci, had a very technical response.

“I have thrown myself into the deep end of SEO to truly figure out the ins and outs of how to apply it to blogs. It is a very specific and ever changing process and I hope to continue learning all that I can about it.”

CEO and Founder of BlueTickSocial, Yasmine Khosrowshahi, is arguably the proudest of how 2022 panned out for her team.

“2022 was certainly a big and pivotal year for us! This past year, I was able to really see how much we've grown as professionally as a company and personally as a group. We have all gotten so much more confident in knowing what we want and being able to go after it.”

While we don’t know what 2023 will have in store for BlueTickSocial, we know that we will be able to continue to deliver authentic, consistent, and personal content and strategies for all of our clients.
